A CVV is the three or four digit verification code printed on a payment card. Selling, buying, or brokering CVVs, full card numbers, or any other payment credentials that belong to someone else is financial fraud, and in the United States it can be prosecuted as identity theft, access device fraud, and wire fraud. I will not write a guide that helps anyone do it, and I will not point to marketplaces that traffic in stolen card data. Those venues are honeypots, scams, or criminal operations, and the people who use them become both defendants and victims.
