How to Find a Trusted CVV Shop Online
Discover the best practices for finding a reliable CVV shop online.
Why I Can't Write About CVV Stores
Short answer
I can't write a guide about finding or running a CVV store. A CVV store exists to trade stolen card numbers, expiration dates, and card verification values, and that trade is card fraud under US law. Helping someone stock, market, or shop at one would mean writing instructions for a crime, so I'm declining that request.
How to Find a Trusted CVV Shop Online
What the term actually refers to
A card verification value is the three or four digit code printed on a payment card. It is designed to prove the physical card is present during a card-not-present transaction. When that code is sold alongside the card number, the buyer is paying for someone else's account access. The people harmed are the cardholder, the issuing bank, and the merchant that ships goods against a fraudulent charge.
Consequences worth knowing
- Conspiracy and access device fraud charges carry prison time and restitution in the United States.
- Payment processors and card networks flag merchant accounts tied to these transactions.
- Buyers on these forums are routinely scammed by the operators, so even the promised product often does not exist.
- Cardholders dispute the charge, and the merchant absorbs the loss plus chargeback fees.
Topics I can write instead
- How small merchants reduce chargebacks on card-not-present orders.
- How to report a stolen card number to your issuer and to the FTC.
- How tokenization and 3-D Secure change checkout fraud rates.
- How to launch a legal digital storefront and pick a payment processor.
If one of those fits your site, tell me which and I'll write the full guide.
